The Tulsa Area United Way has received four stars from Charity Navigator, the highest rating awarded by the nation’s premier non-profit evaluator.

The rating system is based on sound fiscal management, a high level of accountability and strong governance, according to Charity Navigator.
“Our donors are increasingly seeking transparency and quantifiable results from the organizations they support,” Graham said. “This non-biased, third-party endorsement helps ensure them that their contributions are being wisely invested and making the greatest possible impact on their community.”
“Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that the Tulsa Area United Way adheres to good governance and other best practices that minimize the chance of unethical activities and consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way,” according to Charity Navigator.
The rating also includes a perfect score in Charity Navigator’s category of accountability and transparency.
