About the Tulsa Area United Way
Since 1924, we have raised over $568,000,000 that has been invested in helping people each and every day, mobilized volunteers, helped strengthen our partner agencies and provided a strong safety net of critical services to meet identified needs in our community. We've created jobs, rendered services, built assets, paid taxes plus helped and saved lives.
Known for outstanding efficiency and the hundreds of volunteers that drive the agency, TAUW can proudly report to contributors that approximately 90 cents of every dollar donated last year went directly to local services, and hundreds of thousands of lives were touched, changed or perhaps even saved through area contributions. Our 61 health and human services partner agencies serve Creek, Okmulgee, Osage, Rogers, Tulsa and Wagoner counties.
