Miss Representation is the documentary that launched the Representation Project, a movement that uses film and media content to expose injustices created by gender stereotypes. This highly acclaimed documentary shines a light on the way women are portrayed in the media and the incredible power this representation has over how we think and act.
After the film the Women's Leadership Council will host a panel discussion. This panel will include women leaders and young women sharing their thoughts on stereotypes of women in the media. There will also be an open discussion for attendees to discuss the ways we can all use our voices to challenge society's limiting representations of gender.
