Heidi Braver has more than 20 years of experience in non-profit administration, financial services and retirement planning.

She has served as campaign executive with the Tulsa Area United Way since 2012, developing relationships with top executives at Fortune 500 companies, playing a key role in generating more than $100 million for 60 non-profit organizations, and initiating an organization for young professionals focusing on philanthropy. Known as the Emerging Leaders Society, this organization grew to more than 700 members in three years.

Prior to her career with United Way, she served as a Plan Services Specialist for Bank of Oklahoma, where she worked with relationship managers, trust associates, and clients to provide communication and administrative solutions.

She also served as a Service Specialist with TIAA-CREF, a Fortune 100 financial services company and one of the nation's primary providers of retirement benefits. In that role, she was responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of retirement plans for more than 600 non-profit organizations in Washington D.C.

She earned a bachelor of arts in Japanese from the University of California at Santa Barbara, graduating with honors in 1994.

She has a long history of community service, serving as a member of the Riverfield Country Day School Family Association Board since 2007. Riverfield is an independent school focusing on experiential learning. At the school, she fulfilled a variety of volunteer roles, including coordination of school events.

Sam Dagnall joined the United Way in 2017 after serving as a Loaned Executive in the 2015 campaign. During his time as an LE, he found a passion for non-profits and desire to serve his community.

Before the United Way, Sam began his career at QuikTrip, starting as a part time clerk in 2009, and working his way through the ranks to store manager. At QuikTrip, Sam served on a contribution committee, which helped decide where to allocate donated funds throughout the community.

Sam enjoys being part of a team and brings his passion for philanthropy to his role at the United Way.

Haley Buzzard Hamilton

Haley M. Buzzard Hamilton has more than 10 strong years of experience in community development.

She recently earned a masters degree in Public Service Management from DePaul University in Chicago, IL.

Prior to focusing full time on graduate school she worked for Cherokee Nation Businesses. Her area of expertise includes research, media relations, community and government relations and event planning. She worked to develop and deliver key messages for tailored audiences.

Before leaving for Chicago, Buzzard was active in the community and has extensive public engagement and participation with the Tulsa Indian Affairs Commission, Leadership Tulsa 39, Tulsa Metro Chamber Mosaic Board, Catoosa City Parks Board, Catoosa Chamber of Commerce, Cherokee Nation Healing to Wellness Court and Cherokee Nation community organizations.

Buzzard earned a B.A. of mass communications and public relations from Northeastern State University, and an associate’s degree from Haskell Indian Nations University.

Buzzard currently lives in Catoosa, OK. She is a dual citizen of the Cherokee Nation and the Kickapoo Tribe of Kansas.

Chase Mowery joined the United Way in the spring of 2018 after working as the Community Engagement Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma, a United Way partner agency.

Originally from Illinois, Chase came to Tulsa to serve as an AmeriCorps Member with City Year, a national nonprofit that serves at-risk youth. While in City Year, Chase was the Positive School Climate Coordinator at Daniel Webster High School. Prior to City Year, Chase earned his B.A. in English at Monmouth College, graduating with honors in 2014.

Chase currently serves as a Big Brother to his Little, Logan. He is excited to join the Campaign Team to help make the Tulsa community a better place to live, work, and raise a family.

As a passionate advocate for the TAUW, Steve relishes the opportunity to utilize his customer-centric business experience in a role that helps build a stronger community.
