A record twenty-six Tulsa employers will conduct early fundraising campaigns this summer on behalf of the Tulsa Area United Way. Known as “Trailblazers,” these companies and organizations will begin their campaigns in advance of the city-wide United Way campaign, which will kick off on Sept. 9 and run through Nov. 10.
A celebration of last year’s United Way campaign, awards for the top employee campaigns at area companies and organizations and an honor for longtime community volunteer Becky Frank highlighted the Annual Live United Awards and Luncheon, presented on Tuesday, Feb. 16, by the Tulsa Area United Way.
The Tulsa Area United Way unveiled the results of its annual campaign on Thursday, raising $26,524,575 for the community. The total was beyond its original goal of $26,524,500, the largest in its 91-year history.
