Tulsa Area United Way hosted a webinar with experts at Domestic Violence Intervention Services and 12&12 to explain the intersection of domestic violence and substance abuse. Tulsa County has announced that $30 million in CARES Act funding is being made available to small businesses and nonprofits impacted as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the time-sensitive nature of the CARES Act funding which must be used by the end of 2020, the privately and locally raised Tulsa Area COVID-19 Response Fund has placed the application process temporarily on hold.
