Application Deadline for New Voices Board Internship Program is June 1st!
The deadline for submitting an application for the New Voices Board Internship Program is Wednesday, June 1st. If you, or someone you know, is interested in applying, please make sure that the application has been completed and mailed to the Leadership Tulsa office by the June 1st deadline.
The New Voices program is the result of a partnership between Leadership Tulsa and The Tulsa Area United Way, and is designed to increase the diversity on Tulsa Area United Way agency boards. There is no cost for the program which begins in September of 2011.
Leadership Tulsa is seeking candidates with diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds who have the commitment to serve the nonprofit sector in a leadership role, but have not previously served on more than one nonprofit board of directors. Participants in the program will gain training and support through a full day educational session and quarterly breakfasts with board mentors. Participants will be chosen based on their application and letters of reference. The number of participants selected will be limited to 15-25 people.
