Elizabeth Osburn, senior vice president of government affairs for the Tulsa Regional Chamber, brings more than a decade of experience in public policy and government relations, and is is responsible for leading the Chamber’s policy and advocacy efforts at the local, state and federal levels of government. Chief among these, Osburn champions the OneVoice Regional Legislative Agenda, now in its 11th year.
This advocacy initiative unites more than 70 northeast Oklahoma organizations around a shared set of legislative priorities. Osburn’s additional responsibilities include oversight of the Chamber’s political action committees – OklahomaBizPAC and TulsaBizPAC – as well as managing the Chamber’s Energy Council. She also helps implement strategies to increase voter engagement and participation across the Tulsa region.
Before joining the Chamber, Osburn served as government affairs director for the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors. She also was a long-time staffer to former U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, serving as a policy advisor in Washington and correspondence director in Oklahoma. In addition to her years as a congressional staffer, Osburn worked in California at the Pacific Research Institute, a free-market economic think tank. She has also worked on several national political campaigns throughout her career. A native Tulsan, Osburn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Oklahoma.
