For over 86 years the Tulsa Area United Way has been there for our communities. We are the only nonprofit organization in the six-county area funding 61 partner agencies whose critical services deliver the three building blocks to a better life:

Local
When you invest in the Tulsa Area United Way, your gift goes far -- not far away. In fact,  more than 99 cents of every dollar contributed stays in the six-county area helping your friends and neighbors right here at home.  

Accountable
More than 5,000 people throughout the Tulsa area volunteer their time to serve on boards and committees of the United Way and its partner agencies. Their oversight of the United Way and the organizations it supports ensures that your contributions are used effectively.  

Efficient
Of every dollar you contribute, more than 90 cents is wisely invested in local programs and services. Our cost-effectiveness is among the best in charitable fundraising. 

Effective
Nearly 300 dedicated community volunteers invest 8,000 hours each year, carefully evaluating local agencies and their funding requests. These trained volunteers, alert to local needs, make tough decisions to make sure your contributions produce the best results.

By targeting your money investment in three strategic areas, we are able to reach more people in our community.
