Job Opening Description: We are currently looking for a women's counselor for the Tulsa Women and Children's Center. We provide quality, compassionate treatment for substance abuse and addiction for pregnant and parenting women, adolescents, and families.

Job Opening Basic Qualifications: Requirements for all counselors:

Current LADC, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW or under supervision for licensure
Master's degree in behavioral science or related field

Job Description Summary: Residential Counselors at TWCC provide inpatient treatment services to pregnant and parenting women. Promote consumer empowerment, recovery and integration in the community, using best practices, evidence-based treatment, and integrated treatment for women with co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities of Women's Residential Counselor:

Develop treatment plans in collaboration with consumers.
Provide primary therapeutic services for all consumers assigned to caseload.
Maintain timely, accurate and detailed consumer records.
Facilitate treatment groups.
Participate in treatment team and clinical staff meetings.
Act as liaison with community support services and connect consumers to continued services.
Assist in planning and organizing graduation ceremony.
Maintain program security and confidentiality.
Monitor consumer activities in the treatment setting.

The Child Care Program at Tulsa Women and Children's Center is accredited by NAEYC, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and is licensed as a Reaching for the Stars Three-Star Child Care Center by Oklahoma Child Care Services.
