DESCRIPTION:The Coalition of Hispanic Organizations in collaboration with Tulsa Public Schools\, Tulsa Area United Way\, ALL.IN\, Expo Square Center\, and Tulsa City-County Library\, are excited to announce that our FREE annual Back to School Community Resource Fair is back for its 8th year! This year’s event is part of Tulsa Area United Way’s Days of Caring program and will be held at the Expo Square – SageNet Center on Saturday\, August 10th\, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. \nThe Back to School Community Resource Fair will provide school age children with FREE backpacks\, schools supplies\, and an extensive range of services and community resources. This year\, we are looking forward to welcoming over 5\,000 students! \nTo serve this many families\, we need your help! DESCRIPTION:Join Tulsa Area United Way on Saturday\, August 19 at 6th and Main in downtown Tulsa as we officially kick off this year’s fundraising drive under the balloon arch. Whether you run\, walk\, bike\, or dance through\, Price Family Properties will generously donate $100 to the Tulsa Area United Way for every single participant – pets included! We need your help to reach $100\,000 to get this year’s campaign started. It’s a chance to have fun while making a real difference in our community!  \n From 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM\, the excitement will be contagious as we come together to support our neighbors in need throughout Tulsa and TAUW’s six-county service area.  \nThis year’s Downtown Deco challenge continues as a free\, family-friendly festival filled with activities for all ages. Join us for food\, outdoor games\, inflatables\, bubbles\, and more. One of Tulsa’s family-favorite musicians\, Hot Toast Music Company (Symon Hajjar)\, performs live at 9:00 AM. Little ones and their grown-ups will be able to dance\, sing\, and make their own music!  \nThe highlight of the day happens at 10:00\, when United Way volunteers and staff unveil the 2023 Fundraising Drive Goal from the top of the Transok Apartments.   \nYou won’t want to miss this day of fun\, so grab a coffee and a breakfast taco on us and raise money just by walking under the balloon arch.   \nSee you under the balloon arch on August 19!

NextGen United members are Tulsa Area United Way supporters in their 20s\, 30s\, and 40s and give $250 or more annually. \nTime for a Cause allows the community to bid volunteer hours in exchange for auction items and experiences.  \nTime for a Cause 2023 will feature an online auction\, and an in-person reception on May 11. The reception will include networking\, happy hour\, hors d’oeuvres\, and a celebration for the end of the auction. \nMore information to come
