ORGANIZATIONAL GIVING MANAGER
Role of the Organizational Giving Manager
The Organizational Giving Manager’s (OGM) main role is to maintain positive relationships and proactively establish relationships with companies/individuals as assigned and meeting the annual fundraising campaign goals for those companies/individuals.
The Manager will be responsible for proper maintenance and accuracy within the donor database. The OGM must gain a detailed understanding of TAUW programs, processes, and funded nonprofit partners and is expected to participate in special events/projects and take leadership role(s) as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:
This position will be part of the Resource Development team responsible for the execution of TAUW’s annual fundraising campaign. More specifically, you will be assigned a group of companies for which you will cultivate and maintain relationships to help assure multi-year success reaching the campaign goals.
- Fundraising Campaign Development
- The OGM will assure the development of the annual campaign fundraising goal for assigned division and ensure that the financial goal is met or exceeded and if necessary, will target and improve the workplace fundraising campaigns of “under-performing” companies/entities, sharing best practices and using a consultative approach.
- The OGM will also be responsible for executing assigned projects for campaign operations, i.e. trainings, departmental liaison, etc.
- Cultivate New Campaigns
- Proactively solicit new workplace campaigns from non-participating companies/entities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all companies/individuals within assigned areas, including contact records.
Relationship Development & Collaboration
- Leverage existing relationships and build new ones with employee campaign coordinators at our supporting companies.
- Establish highly collaborative cross-functional relationships and work effectively with all employees and volunteers to lead to successful campaigns.
Communication
- Externally, demonstrate the ability to genuinely promote Tulsa Area United Way, our mission and nonprofit partners through both presentations, meetings, and written communication.
- Demonstrate a high level of comfort with public speaking and written communication.
- Provide excellent customer service to both volunteers and companies.
Leadership and Project Management
- Organize and carry out processes and systems to manage a portfolio of giving and non-giving companies.
- Complete required reports and meet quarterly activity objectives for assigned companies.
- Manage a group of seasonal employees to carry out fundraising campaigns during the peak season of our annual fundraising campaign.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- Three-to-five years of related work experience required.
- Experience working and engaging across various and diverse community groups, delivering on collaborative projects and initiatives for mutually beneficial efforts.
- Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness and high-quality customer service is required.
- Ability to prioritize needs and deadlines in fast-paced highly responsive environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain successful working relationships with the public, volunteers, partner nonprofits and fellow TAUW staff.
- Excellent written communication and public speaking skills is required.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and facilitate meetings and presentations.
- Competency in basic math as well as the ability to produce and interpret basic reports.
- Proficient use of Microsoft office suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel)
- Bilingual (Spanish) language skills highly preferred
- Have daily access to reliable transportation within a defined geographic region.
