Membership opportunities

NextGen United members support Tulsa Area United Way by annually giving $250 or more. The group is comprised of individuals in their 20s, 30s and 40s.

  • Networking – Annual networking event to meet other NextGen United members as well as members of Women United and Always United.
  • Personal and Professional Development – Annual personal/professional development event featuring a presentation from a community leader on topics important to young professionals.
  • Education – Annual education event to learn more about issues affecting our community and how we can get involved to make a difference.
  • Volunteerism – Annual volunteer opportunities for members to be more engaged with the community, including the chance to bid volunteer hours in exchange for local experiences during the annual Time for a Cause auction.

By joining an affinity group, your donation will help us create lasting change for future generations in Tulsa, Creek, Rogers, Osage, Okmulgee and Wagoner counties.

a month provides backpacks filled with food for 4 children to provide healthy, nutritious snacks for a year when they’re not at school. Caring Community Friends

a month provides mentor matches for 5 children to develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on their life. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma

a month provides life skills classes for formerly homeless youth to learn how to live independently and get a job. Youth Services of Tulsa

Time for a cause

Time for a Cause allows auction participants to bid volunteer hours in exchange for auction items and experiences. In 2021 this event raised 332 volunteer hours for 12 Tulsa Area United Way partner agencies.
