Jesse Boudiette has a long history with the United Way. As a child, his parents divorced and his family received counseling services as his mother put herself through school.
Later, Boudiette graduated from the University of Tulsa and began working for a Tulsa Area United Way partner agency, Domestic Violence Intervention Services (DVIS). He recalls the many people he met and experiences he had while working for DVIS.
“Hearing others’ personal stories opened my eyes to the need in the community, including people like my mom, in need of some help,” he said.
Today he operates his own marketing and public relations firm, Propeller Communications, which focuses on community involvement, and offers a variety of services, including issues management, crisis communications, public engagement, employee communications, media relations and special events coordination.
Jesse also helped create the Tulsa Area United Way Emerging Leaders Society and served as its second chair in 2014. He also continued his support of the United Way as the Live United Network Chair and represented the group on the the 2016 Campaign Cabinet.
