ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) represents households that are working and earning above the Federal Poverty Level, but not enough to afford the basic necessities of housing, childcare, food, transportation, health care, and technology. By bringing this powerful data resource to our partners, Tulsa Area United Way aims to inform policy decisions, scale impact, and strengthen communities for working families across Oklahoma.

Join Tulsa Area United Way for an educational series exploring the work of our Community Collaborations grantees.
On October 27, we’ll learn about the work of Healthy Minds Policy Initiative from President and CEO Zack Stoycoff, MPA. One in five Oklahoma adults experiences mental illness, and a similar share has a substance use disorder. Too many of these Oklahomans go without treatment, and we feel the consequences in our families, schools, businesses, and the criminal legal system. Healthy Minds Policy Initiative helps policymakers and community leaders advance data-driven strategies to overcome our state’s substance use challenges and meet the mental health needs of all Oklahomans.
Lunch will be provided.
