Thin Places: A Celebration of Sisterhood

Join Women United and Oklahoma-based filmmaker Brit Hensel for a screening of her short film Thin Places. Following a reception featuring Native vendors and catering, we’ll enjoy a screening of Thin Places, recent winner of Best Oklahoma Short at the deadCenter Film Festival. We’ll close with a conversation between the filmmaker and TAUW President & CEO Alison Anthony on the power of art and creativity as a vehicle to navigate grief and mental health challenges. Throughout the event, we are excited to showcase nonprofit partners serving in these spaces.  This heartfelt film and fireside chat will leave you empowered by the way women lift each other up in good times and bad.
