Tulsa Area United Way (TAUW) announced a direct community impact of $29,655,526 during the Live United Awards on February 25 at the Arvest Convention Center. TAUW’s traditional fundraising drive total of $26,585,627 surpassed the goal set in August 2025.
Included in the direct community impact amount is revenue outside the annual fundraising drive, including in-kind contributions, national restricted grants and the estimated value of volunteer service. Nearly 7,000 volunteers contributed more than 56,000 service hours, representing an estimated value of nearly $2 million.
Nearly 800 business leaders, nonprofit partners, and volunteers attended the Live United Awards to celebrate the community’s achievement.
Funds raised through the annual fundraising drive support 160 nonprofit programs operated by 70 organizations across the Tulsa region. These programs promote healthier communities, expand opportunities for young people, strengthen financial stability, and address urgent local needs.
“Our amazing team exceeded the fundraising drive goal because caring people across the region showed up, leaned in, and pulled on the same rope,” said Jackie Price Johannsen, chair of the 2025 annual fundraising drive who serves as president of Price Families Properties.
During the Live United Awards, TAUW 2025 Board President, Stephania Grober, president of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of
Oklahoma, announced annual fundraising drive leadership for the next two years. Lane Wilson, senior vice president and general counsel for Williams, and Maureen Wilson will serve as co-chairs of the 2026 fundraising drive. Kevin Thornton, president of QuikTrip, and Lauren Sherry, QuikTrip’s community relations manager, will co-chair the 2027 fundraising drive.
